NOW getting respect
Ok, we go 2-0, nothing. Beat Atlanta bigtime, nothing. We lose to Carolina and now it seems people are starting to stand up and take a look. Espn's Micheal Irvin said this morning that the team that surprised him the most is the Saints! I also read that some of the sports commentators are placing us in the hunt for the playoffs. Go figure!
I am very impressed with this years Saints. We bearly lost on Sunday, we did not quit, give up or hang our heads in defeat. We fought to the end. Had it not been for the fumble or missed field goal, we would have won. But you learn from your mistakes, its part of the game. I have always had faith and believed in my Saints and I glad that it seems like everyone in FINALLY starting to believe in them too. GO SAINTS GO! |
yo red, welcome aboard. make yourself at home. but, er, that red font is hard on the eyes with the grayish background. ya don't have to be whitejem to use white lettering.
 |
I agree. Sorry, buddy, but the red lettering had to go. Good post, though.
|
LOL. I was gonna say the same thing. Welcome aboard and yes....thank you for eliminating the red letters. It was beginning to hurt to look at.

hey red welcome. we have been going on about the lack of respect and your right it is starting to come around. if we can pull off the next two wins at home then you will hear about the hardest part of our schedual is coming up. there right. 5-1 into the bye would be way to sweet

RE: Re: NOW getting respect
I think we could take a little inspiration from the Detroit Tigers. Beginning of the year, they start out hot. Nobody thought it'd last. Throughout the season, everyone waited for the Tigers to fall apart. It never happened. They lost to the Royals and lost out on the division pennant. Everyone writes them off and pencils the Yankees in for the ALCS. Now they annihilate the Yankees. Here's the point - big turnarounds can happen. Not every team needs a long rebuilding period, they just need the right attitude and the right leadership and some good fortune. Crazy stuff like this happens, and I hope it does for the Saints too.

Even Adam Schefter on the NFL channel is saying we are a playoff team. I believe we will do well this year but barely miss the playoffs, but look out next year when our team will have been together more than a couple of months and our scheduel wont be so difficult
|
Welcome, bro
|
Yeah, it's rough coming up. Philly, Pittsburgh, Cinny, Baltimore and Dallas! Hopefully we can beat 3 of those. We gotta beat at least 2 of them. No more old Saints, laying down to all the strong teams.
The Saints website "mistakeningly" put us down for a W on the November 5th Tampa Bay game :D http://www.neworleanssaints.com/schedule.cfm |
Winning 3 out of the 5 would put us 7-3 which would put us close into the playoffs, 2 out of 5 and we're 6-4, not as good but still not bad .
Either way we're a much better team this year than last. |

But hey, let's take it on game at time. Philly's up next. Stallworth returns to the dome in a different color. You think the crowd will cheer or boo when he comes out the tunnel? |

Just say that they are moving the team to L.A. and you'll get some acknowledgement. |
RE: Re: RE: Re: NOW getting respect
or post some cheerleader pics. that will get you some praise.

Sorry about the red font guys, its my signature thing. How about that win? Go Saints! Now all we have to pluck the Eagles next week and we'll be on our way into the bye.
4-1 baby!!!!! |
