NOW getting respect
Ok, we go 2-0, nothing. Beat Atlanta bigtime, nothing. We lose to Carolina and now it seems people are starting to stand up and take a look. Espn's Micheal Irvin said this morning that the team that surprised him the most is the Saints! I also read that some of the sports commentators are placing us in the hunt for the playoffs. Go figure!
I am very impressed with this years Saints. We bearly lost on Sunday, we did not quit, give up or hang our heads in defeat. We fought to the end. Had it not been for the fumble or missed field goal, we would have won. But you learn from your mistakes, its part of the game. I have always had faith and believed in my Saints and I glad that it seems like everyone in FINALLY starting to believe in them too. GO SAINTS GO! |

I agree. Sorry, buddy, but the red lettering had to go. Good post, though.

RE: Re: NOW getting respect
I think we could take a little inspiration from the Detroit Tigers. Beginning of the year, they start out hot. Nobody thought it'd last. Throughout the season, everyone waited for the Tigers to fall apart. It never happened. They lost to the Royals and lost out on the division pennant. Everyone writes them off and pencils the Yankees in for the ALCS. Now they annihilate the Yankees. Here's the point - big turnarounds can happen. Not every team needs a long rebuilding period, they just need the right attitude and the right leadership and some good fortune. Crazy stuff like this happens, and I hope it does for the Saints too.

Even Adam Schefter on the NFL channel is saying we are a playoff team. I believe we will do well this year but barely miss the playoffs, but look out next year when our team will have been together more than a couple of months and our scheduel wont be so difficult
