Los Angeles Saints
Don't get mad at the title. I am a Saints fan that currently live in LA. I wear a lot of Saints gear..lately people have been approaching me at the mall saying that are ready for the Saints to come to The City of Angels.
I hope this never happens. It is HARD finding Saints gear in Raider Country. |

yup, gonna be 4-1, with former SoCal Reggie and ex-Bolts Brees headlining I am not surprised. With the soldout stadium a year after the devastation and half the city gone I think even Benson realizes it cannot happen soon. Continued success on the field and it'll be nutso around NOLA. It's been a long drought since the Dome patrol days. The Haz playoff win was just a blip then a sick joke for a few years.
BTW, welcome aboard. Don't be shy. There is lots of Saints paraphernalia online all over the place. Froogle will give you 27,837 items in less than a second. |

They only want them because they are winning now. Sorry L.A., we supported them for years when they were bums......you're not getting them now that they are winners. Besides.....you've got a winning team with a great QB up the road in Oakland!

RE: Re: Los Angeles Saints
I live in Los Angeles as well, and from the people I've spoken too, they don't care a lick about pro football out here. They have their Dodgers, Clippers, Kings and Lakers.
The people who really want the NFL in L.A. are the politicians looking to fatten their pockets, and the media who want to tap into the advertising dollars of the nation's 2nd largest market. UCLA doesn't get fanatical support for their own college program. USC has a huge following in LA b/c they win. L.A. will only back winners. The minute a team struggles. the "fans" out here are off the bandwagon. When the Lakers had a tough season after dealing Shaq to Miami, I witnessed several Laker fans change their loyalty to the Clippers. I wonder why? |

Every Monday some new thread about relocation hits the forum.
Rah Rah, Saints rule, yaddy yaddy yah. New Orleans is home. LA sucks. Blah Blah. Nothing will happen until next season. Since Everyone thinks this season's an abberation with the fan base seeking solace in the fortunes of the hometown football team, next season's ticket sales will probably be one fo the key deciding factors in whether the base can support the team. So, ignore the bs until February. |
