I think we've met our quota for average CB's.

Packer fans are glad to not see him being burned anymore more than we hate seeing Jason Craft in one on one coverage. The guy has been a complete and total bust. I have read he has a big mouth and isn't very coachable too.
Packer fan comments from the first GB forum I came across- this is great!!! I personally hope the RAMS sign him, so we can LIGHT HIM UP all day Sunday! let him see if he gets better with time? He's been on a plateau of ineptitude for 3 years now...he's not getting any better anytime soon! I don't like the timing of the move, but it needed to be done at some point...he's worthless! I sat and watched Carroll bumble around during the Packers Family night/training camp and thought that it looked like it would be a long season with him again. Thank goodness that my predictions weren't true and he was released today. This is the best thing to cheer me up after a Monday Night loss. Can you imagine the stupid things that will come out of Carroll's mouth when he tries to spin this???? Carroll was the most inarticulate Packer since Travis Williams. This is the second best day of the year for the Packers!! I think it's another example of Carroll's character. We have all heard his eloquence, and observed his play. I agree two years in the league and he will be bagging groceries instead of receivers. Two years of being slow to take coaching, reluctant to take responsibility for his mistakes and constantly in dispute with the officials put Carroll in a hole. His lack of maturity was most evident in his relationship with fellow rookie cornerback Joey Thomas during the 2004 season. Thomas was jealous of Carroll being given a starting job and often intimated that Carroll's status as a first-round pick was the only reason he was ahead on the depth chart. The friction between them escalated into a fight outside a meeting room in which Carroll struck Thomas from behind. Say what you will about Carroll, I'll miss his nickname: "Holding, 28, defence" |

Wait a sec. Carroll and the word "average" being used in the same sentence? Am I in the Twilight Zone? The guy gets called for holding or interference on every other play.

No thanks, I say we take our chances with MM & Thomas this season.
