Here's the real travesty in all of this L.A. hoopla.

Should the Saints (God forbid) ever be relocated to Los Angeles they'd make a big splash initially, but the thrill would die once the Saints had a below .500 season.

While the people here may be pulling for the Saints as some others have posted. It's mainly because the Saints are a feel good story across the country. The majority of people that I talk to, either don't care if football is here, or they want a new team. They don't want a relocated team (except maybe the Colts). Nobody is thrilled about the Los Angeles Vikings or Saints.

People here could never endure what we, as Saints fans, have endured. They lack the passion and loyalty of the fans in New Orleans. Yes they're crazy about the Lakers, but they've been winners for the majority of their existence. Only last season did the Clippers make a blip on the L.A. radar, and that was because they were winning. I don't know a single L.A. Kings fanatic.

Truth be told, I'm biased to my home of New Orleans. Nobody deserves the Saints like their fans from the Gulf South. I hope the day never comes where any of this is a reality.

GO SAINTS!

I'll personally hunt Benson down if he moves the team. I'd personally threatened to do so when it appeared he was certain to following his bout of whining about Baton Rouge last year. Bottom line is this: to hell with San Antonio (and more generally ALL Texas locales and teams), and piss on LA. I would end up a Chargers fan if this went down.

It may have been said before...but the whole Katrina mess from last year yielded a positive result beyond the country rallying behind the team in week 3. The team's uncertain future was the primary reason for the complaints by and the dismissal of AARON BLEEPING BROOKS.

I think Benson is doing really well these days financially, he's making big money with his team.
It looks good that the Saints will be here in LA for years to come.

Benson turned down a $1B+ offer last year because the contract didn't stipulate that the team wouldn't be moved from NO. He knows he'd be hunted down and he knows that the Saints moving would harm the city irreparably if they moved. It's his daughter we should keep an eye on.

Just curious... Would any of you buy a car from him if the Saints were to move?

with selling out this year i don't think they are looking to head anywhere at the moment. if the team keeps winning and gets to the playoffs or is close they will probably sell out again next year. why leave when you are selling out. i think he uses that **** to get a new stadium which he probably should get

you got it spkb25 I was wondering why with all the money out there some was not ear marked for at least land purchase.
LA has tried and failed more than once. they should get a soccer team from Mexico to play there.
