If Turley had a loyalty clause he\'d have exploded before he got on the field. LOL

It just goes to show you, the Bengals are tired of not just the fans, the media, but also their own players making fun of them for being such losers.

It would likely curb the players and their agents using the media as a weapon in contract negotiation. Although the way a player deals with these issues and the public voicing of negative opinions against their own team generally says it all about a player.

To think that Turley was not only the King of Endymion last year, but that fans put together a \"Save The Kyle Turley Fund\" to pay off his fine for that helmet incident against the Jets. Not much loyalty coming from that guy.

But his trade was fitting. If he has to be gotten rid of, then the RAMS were the right team to send him to. I bet that there\'s just a \"wee little bit\" of tension in the RAMS locker room after all the things he said about them.

Serious?.. not sure if you\'re joking.

Just in case...

Endymion\'s a major parade that passes down Carrolton and St. Charles during Mardi Gras. It\'s one of the largest and most expensive ones - getting to be king of that Krew for a year is a major honor.

I thought the only people who lost their freedom of speech when they signed a contract were people joining the military. Says a lot about an organization if they feel the need to put that in a contract. Personally, I\'da told\'em to get bent!

First Amendment rights aren\'t part of this equation. Palmer still has the freedom to speak, just not the ability to blast the bengals and keep all of his signing bonus.
So, he has the right to speak...but he doesn\'t have the right to speak. I\'d say that\'s 1st Amendment rights.
I think this is very smart for the Bengals organization. They need this to help them rebulid the franchise.
Nooooo, what would be smart for the Bengals is for them to give players a reason not to bad mouth their own team.
I\'m sure in situations I\'m wrong.
Like this one for instance...
Like if the guy if being severly mistreated, but in Turley\'s case I believe I\'m absolute right about this. He and the Saints would have been better off if he would have kept his mouth shut.
Wait! I\'ve an idea!! Let\'s put a clause in everyone\'s contract that makes them all hold hands at the end of game\'s and practice\'s, bow to the team logo, and sing Kumbaya.

Man I\'ve been gone to long....
