My Faves
Got to give ya a list (Everybody loves lists)
So far my faves are; Mike Karney. This guy is passionate and will lay some lumber when called upon. I love his fire, and his tough play. Deuce; He is back...and Loose. He is running like I have never seen him run before. On that long run, not only did he run through., he bruised and pushed out of the way any defender that tried to stop him. Love the two guys he shoved aside at one time. Baby Matrix; Glad he got his first TD. But even though it took till the 5th game, his presence and positive work ethic have been great for the team. He has done more just by being on the field, than he has by touching the ball. Wiley vets are scared of what he is capable of doing. He has a lot placed on his shoulders, yet he stillrun's a 4.25 40. Tough kid..and a winner. It was awesome to not being able to hear the tv announcers after he scored the T.D. Receivers; All of them have made plays, whether it be the Old Man Joe, or the rookie, Colston. Even Devery has been good. Donte who?? Brees; So what part of hs body did he injure? It damn sure wasn't his throwing shoulder was it?? He has been consistent, and shown that he can check off, make reads, and throw to the open receiver. Great pocket presence. The O-Line; What can you say except BRAVO....They were supposed to be a weak link, but they are not playing like it. Holes are huge, and becaiuse of it the backs run away. Brees has been able to make throws, and doesnt feel like a rag doll. THE WHOLE DAMN DEFENSE; The linebackers, who are supposed to be second teamers, are not playing as such. THey are plugging holes, making plays, and playing like no other corps since the Dome Patrol. The D-Line is awesome, Grant Smith, Young and Company. Props to Young who is playing like a mad man. The Corners have been solid, and the safeties have been exceptional. The Coaches; The biggest difference. Ok, sure the team has seen about a 50% turnover, but look at the baggage we lost. This team is wiilled to do and perform like winners. They are pressed and coached to not make mental mistakes. They are given the chance to win every game. This is the biggest impact, the best addition to this team. And the coach is not afraid to get up in someones face and challenge them to do right. Ok, so I didn't pick a favorite. I mean I am a HOMER. I love all these Saints, and I am so excited about what the rest of the season has in store. |
Respect my authori-tie

One thing is for sure...when Brees makes a mistake, he doesn't come off the field with that S&*T eating grin on his face. Brees is a leader unlike years past...no name calling here! LOLOLOLOLOLOL
