this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; OK, this is making me nervous... I gotta keep telling myself that, these are the New Saints and they won't believe the hype surrounding them. During the Haslett era, the minute ESPN or FOX showed up with a camera crew ...

Thank you Cajun and Madmarsha!!! I'm tired of hoping we don't lose. Next to impossible, but I feel that we can win every game on our shedule. BELIEVE!!!

We can win any game, but reality jumps in and says it wont happen...the way the ball bounces, the lucky breaks, the busted coverages, the bad calls from the officials...those things cant be predicted. Of the 32 teams in the NFL, 24 of them are all the same...coaching, officiating, and luck make the difference in 12-4 and 8-8.

For the first time I believe we have a team that is willing to ignore what they cannot control. Perhaps more importantly. They are willing to forget their last mistake and play good football. Too many times in the last 25 yrs it seemed as if the team was willing to play well as long as nothing went wrong. As soon as the first bad thing happened they threw in the towel. Our players play tough football now because they know they wil be unemployed (from this team) if they don't bring their A-Game every day. We have always been the toughest fans. It is about time that we see that reflected in our players. I credit Sean Payton! |
I'm no one.

Absolutely all the credit for this team's success has to be directed to Sean Payton. But we cant forget that even though he has done some stupid things the last few years, Mickey Loomis was the man who brought in Sean Payton...so he deserves a bit of credit too.
