There are even different lines for men and women because the patdowns are pretty thorough. I did see some men getting into the women's line to be frisked by the female security officers though.

They started that last year, they were doing it at the alamodome. I think it's league-wide.

I went to the two in Tiger Stadium and I don't remember them doing it that way. I might be wrong though. To be honest, as much of a hassle as it is, I do feel safer. I've always thought it would be too easy for some nut case to sneak a bomb into the crowd. I'm not sure you could sneak a firecracker in now.

I can't understand why 60,000+ people shouldn't be allowed to bring megaphones to the game and scream through them....

I don't think we need them. Were you at the Falcons game? It was so loud that it was painful. I had to put the ear plugs I use when I'm at Utopia and Razzoo. I know that Vick was unable to call any audibles and probably had to point at the play on his wrist band even in the huddle.
