RE: Will the Saints make the playoffs?
I think it's ok for fans to think playoffs but keep in mind that things turn for the worst in the NFL sometimes.
Just don't want the players to think playoffs right now, to them it's one game at a time which I know Payton will drill that in their heads.. It's fun just thinking about it.. |

Interesting poll. Especially the national perpective. Even Georgia had to bow down . But I'm sure some of our transpants helped skew that. Our biggest doubters are the Carolinas . Those suckers swear they got a team up there! If I wasn't so old school, I'd be tempted to argue Corolina has now over taken Atlanta as our biggest rival. But I lived through too many Morton Anderson fieldgoals, Dione Sanders interceptions, and pots of Falcon Gumbo to ever say that!
Our second biggest doubter is Vermont! What the heck do they know about football? When we field a ski team, then I'll respect Vermont's opinion. |

Philly fans, GB fans, NE fans (recently), ALL NYC fans expect a playoff team EVERY year. It's time for us to start. Before the year started I would've been happy with 8-8. Now I'll be disapointed with anything less than 10-6. If we miss the playoffs because of tie-breakers that's one thing, but to miss them because the team slid backwards, NO. |

IMHO, it will depend on the weekly INJURY report. If the Saints stay HEALTHY...they have a chance at the postseason!
No doubt some on the team are playing way beyond their capacity. I'll take it. though! |

It was very noticeable that Duece pulled up with a "hammy", but worked it out and came back to PLAY. Some players would, and have, missed four games because they lack commitment!
Bank on the fourth round pick from Philly...if they give Stallworth a new contract they are plain and simple STUPID! Just read the signature below................................... |
