In-game injuries - Saints running back Deuce McAllister left in first quarter with a strained right hamstring in first quarter and went to locker room early in second quarter. He came back in second quarter, though, and said after the game that he would be fine.

He's got 2 weeks to heal up. One week they don't even need to practise him and the second (if needed) they can have him do light practise. If it was serious, there's no way Payton brings him back into the game.

Update: McAllister, who left Sunday's game with an injured hamstring but was able to return, finished with 64 yards rushing on 12 carries.
Recommendation: Regarding the injury, McAllister said after the game, "My hamstring cramped up; I didn't really pull it, but I felt it when it was tightening, so I just went down." McAllister was effective after returning to the game, rushing the ball eight times for 36 yards, so the injury didn't seem to affect him much. The Saints have a bye this weekend, and we expect McAllister to be fine by Week 8 against Baltimore. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...e&type=fantasy |
Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over, over, and over again...and expecting a different outcome!

As BJ said, there is no way Payton puts Deuce back in the game even if it would have been a slight hamstring pull, you just can't chance it.
Deuce said he will be ok, I'll go with that, the bye came at the right time it seems. What made me feel better was that he came back in the game, I felt much better after seeing that. |

lol
nothing much I have been looking. I will go with the cramping over strain. mixed reviews out there. He was suppose to go in today for a look see. but nothing solid or worth posting. If it was a slight strain i do not think Payton would have played him in the second half |
