RE: Toughest game

I would have picked the Bengals to beat us before the season started but the Bengals offensive line is just horrible, their offense is sputtering bad right now, Palmer has no protection at all, their running game isn't much of a factor and I think I read somewhere that they lost their left tackle, Palmer has been taking a beating this year and now lose a tackle.
I do hope they find a way to beat them Panthers and Pitt beats the crap out of the Falcons.
The Saints on the other hand are playing really well, it will take a much improved Bengals team to beat us

Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

I don't know if we can beat Bye. I don't think they've ever lost.

I'd say Pittsburg. Probably the most hostile environment left on our schedule. Roethlisberger may be settling in after a miserable start and I think their Super Bowl hangover may be over now. Notching a W in Pittsburg would be an impressive feat.

Smart answer. Fans need to take the Payton approach. The most critical game is the next one. Teams that start looking ahead are the ones that get bit where it hurts. You need look no further than last Monday night's game as a sample. The Bears were having their a$$ handed to them for nearly 55 minutes of the game. Only Cardinal mistakes let them off the hook.

Also the season has an ebb and flow to it. What game you get often depends when in the season it occurs.

Enjoy the week off. Then prep for the Ravens.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Ravens. They're next up and have a whole extra week to drool with anticipation. Losing their last two is going to make that team desperate to stay in the race for the wild card, as 3 losses in a row might send them spiraling into oblivion heading into their key matchup against the Bungles....4 losses in a row puts them third in their division, not a great place to be with 5 of their last 8 against division foes. It's probable that only one team from this division makes it as Denver and SD will make it from the West, Indy and Jax from the South, NE is the only playoff contender from the east, so that makes Cincy, Pitt and Bal battling it out. Baltimore's going to need all the tiebreakers it can get.

The saving grace with the Ravens might be that their offense is poo. Personally, I think we can hang 21 points on any defense in the league. That being said, I agree with Poydras. The most difficult game is ALWAYS the next on on the schedule.
