Second Half of the Season

The next one and the the one after that and then ...... bingo The Ravens have two weeks to get ready for us. Do not under estimate how they will adjust with that defense. Right now there offense is not that big a threat but they can be. they have the talent. After the Carolina loss they will be looking look for revenge against the NFC south. They need a win to stay atop the AFC east. This will be a good smash mouth game. Pray we continue to stay healthy after this one @Bucs should be primed. But the Eagles at home and the Giants on the road first and they should be pretty beat up by the time we come to town. @Pitt in Pitt grrr. nothing harder. They are @Falcons, @Raiders and home against the Broncos before us. Who knows the game between us might be the game to save their season. they have a shot of being 4-3 at that point. Bengals I can not figure this team out can you? but they play @ Ravens and the Chargers before us. big plus @Falcons We started their slide and they will want to do the same for us. Lets hope the @Ravens beat them up a bit. Because they play the Browns the week before. 49ers This is the let down game I fear. They can put up some points. Glad they are coming to the dome. they have the Seahawks and @ Rams before us. @Cowgirls They play the Bucs and @ NYG. My question is who will be at QB? This will be fun. mentor vs mentored. Redskins Another who is this team? team. They have 3 home games in a row before coming to town. Panther, Falcons and Eagles. Three home games can get you on a role. @NYG Eli is coming. I know we are but I like that song. This could be a snow fest. They are @ Panthers and Phili at home before we show up. Lets see what santa leaves christmas eve. Carolina This might be the biggest game of the regular season for us and the playoffs. This game could lead to one on the worse New Years hang overs ever. Now this is a tail gate special...... book your rooms now. Looking at the schedual all I hope is for us to get out of the Ravens game with out major injuries and a win. Then become a turn coat and wish the Eagles and Ravens the best of luck in beating up all the teams they face a week or two before we play that team. The NFL did us a favore and put us in the north for only two games. Pitt and Gaints. Giants being the only snowball threat. If we go 500 rest of the way that is 10-6 and defionitly in the wild card race anything better and we could be playing for a bye week in round one with the Panthers. As it stands now we are in second place in the NFC. 5 games on the road and 5 at home. The 12th man advantage will be more important than ever. So there you go one game at a time. I am saying we go 12-4 now. what a big jump from 6-10. Losses coming in Pitt. because it so hard to win there. AT NYG because of the weather. and one to be named later. :P There is always one let down game some where. |

RE: Second Half of the Season
I'm thinking 11-5, I don't see us losing more than 4 games the rest of the season.
Teams I'm worried about Dallas ( Can we stop TO?) Pittsburgh (It's always tough playing in Pittsburgh) Bengals ( The Bengals offensive line is horrible right now, let's hope they don't improve on it. (C. Johnson) Giants (One game Hot, the next cold, which Giants team will we play?) 11-5 wins the NFC South Go Saints |

RE: Second Half of the Season
um ... Y'all seemed to have missed my point. Injuries and momentum changes everything every week. There's no point in game planning any more than for the next team. Let's worry about the Ravens and making their trip down less than memorable and we'll get to those other teams in good time.

RE: Second Half of the Season
Players need to focus on next next team. We as fans have the luxury of being able to look into the future and drool (or wince) at the competition. Fantasy Football is one giant industry build on fans looking into the future and what their players will do for them.
Poydras, relax a little, especially since it's the bye. Look into the future with a smile, we're going to have a great season however it turns out from this point forward. We've already won TWO more games than last year. |

I guess my problem is that when I look into the future I see the Bengals, Steelers, Giants, Dallas and then we have the luxury of playing all the teams in the NFC South again. What ever happened to teams with the worst record from last year having the easiest schedule this year?

If our defence just could play decently against the Ravens we should win. Because they can't win if they can't score and we should be able to put enough offence together to atleast punch 1-3 TDs in.
