RE: 2 point faves against Baltimore

2 point faves at home is like being a 3 point underdog at a neutral site or a 4 point dog at Baltimore. Essentially what this is telling us is that the oddsmakers favor a Baltimore win, but the homefield advantage is spooking them. Usually home is a 3 point advantage

Gottal love being a home "dog".

I like being the home dog -- but what one must remember is that spreads are not necessarily who is expected to win -- its setting the odds so that an equal number of people bet on both teams. In our case i am sure that there are a lot of people who do not yet believe in us thus the odds are like this

I don't see them picking the Saints as favorites by more than 7 all year, but that's just fine with me, winning to me is all that matters at the end of the game, we'll be happy campers come this Sunday when the Saints end up 6-1.

I think the Saints come out with gunz a blazin' this Sunday..
Look for Devery to get out of the dog house and Deuce to have another big day..
The Ravens D line are gonna be so tired by 2nd half that there wont be a gnat in the city..

I think the players know how important it is to come out and play well against the Ravens.
They won't let themselves down this week, they worked to hard to play a poor game, if they lose (which I don't see that happening) it won't be because of poor play & a lot of penalties, it will be because the Ravens were just a little bit better than they were on Sunday.
The Saints are a different team with a new attitude this year.
What's strange to me this season is that I like our chances at winning on any given Sunday..

Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

I think this is more of a case of betters tired of getting burned by betting against NO. They will gradually believe when/if we keep wnning.

I think that because he fired Fassel, Billeck will try to put his "stamp" on the game early.
A few quick stops and/or turnovers by our D may send them into disarray.
If they do convert on their bold play calling then I like our chances of managing the game and coming back from a deficit.
Drew's 4th qtr passer rating this season is a nice insurance policy.
For some odd reason I am feeling good about this game.
If it is a slugfest, for once I like our chances.
Eerie.

What I mean to say is that I am "Cautiously Optimistic".

We win!
13-31

I'm no one.
Who are you?

Let us not forget the Ravens are coming off of a bye as well and RMS' point of Billick wanting to prove something is right. I hope the defense is prepared for an improved Ravens offense.

I predict a tight game. 23-21 Saints. Stover missing a long potential game winner to have us on edge till the very end.
