RE: Saints | Miller signed
I wish Payton used his tight-ends more, especially in the red-zone, if he would that would really mix it up on offense.

RE: Saints | Miller signed
I am not glad to see Ernie Conwell get hurt, but I am kind of glad he is out of the line up. The dude just drops too many passes. I know sometimes Conwell comes up big, but too many other times he simply drops easy passes. Maybe that is the reason Payton does not use the TE's very much in red zone situations. Hopefully at least one of the other three TE's will step it up and become a true weapon.

The only need on offense??????????????????????????????????
look for tackles baby. if a good tackle is there take him. If a WR is there take him. C/G also if we get banged up on OL we are not as deep as you think. we need some young blood added to groom still. Defense is a higher priority but the offense is still a work in progress. do not settle for good, settle for the best. Drew will be very rich next year and tommy boy will want to protect him no matter what. TE will be addressed mid round if is not addressed in free agency. I think they will do another draft day trade to get one. just like last year. I see the TE becoming more involved as the year rolls on. Defenses can not key on Bush. Duce and Drew have made them pay. so now the TE are going to be freed up as will Bush. There is only so many defenders to go around. |

I'm gonna wait till we sign free agents before targeting needs in the draft. And for the last several years we haven't drafted on need anyway. But as the team stands now, I think our biggest needs are 1. CB 2. DT 3. LB 4. TE 5. WR, O-line, another CB, another LB |

if the draft was today we would be #29. all the clubs with two losses start at number 19. so the odds have it we are picking in this range. (19 - 29) 6 games into the season. So we are way to early talking about it. drafting in this range means we have to wait to see what Jr.s come out.
