piss poor performance
jesus h. christ.... i haven't been this disappointed by the saints in a long time.... i should have known better than to get anxious and expect them to come out and play good after a bye week.... i was so excited about today, and then all of a sudden, the saints looked the saints of old.... turnovers, penalties, dumb mistakes.... wow.... we better shape up fast.... falcons are coming on strong, so are the panthers.... perfect opportunity for us to get another game on the division and we totally blew it.... reggie better learn real fast that a 2 yd gain is better than a 5 yd loss....

RE: piss poor performance
why did we not even try to establish the run early in the game with deuce? it's like we didn't even consider involving him in the game plan... and our offensive line? false starts?! at home?! sad...... like i said piss poor....

The Ravens only give up an avg. of 2.7 yards per carry, I guess the Saints felt that they had a better chance winning by passing, I know I did..
Look, we're still 5-2, come on, a lot of other teams have lost two games so far this season, it's part of the game. |

RE: piss poor performance
After reading chRxis posts if I didn't know we were 5-2 I'd feel like we were 0-7 and have been blown out of every game.

RE: piss poor performance
that's exactly the attitude i expect from contented fans..... screw that.... i say don't become content, don't become ok with where we are..... next week you'll be saying "look we're still 5-3.... 5-4.... etc..... screw that.... they better figure out the problem quick.... tampa gave us hell the first time around and i'm sure they are looking for some pay back and having gradkowski get some experience, hell, we might be in trouble... you must not realize that we're hanging by a thread right about now....

look i'm glad we're 5-2 but honestly we very well could let this early season success go to the wayside and have a bad end of the season and miss the playoffs... i just really don't want to see that happen....

RE: piss poor performance
when i see us come out and play like st. jude's catholic blind girls powderpuff football team after a bye week, i start to see that we aren't where we need to be.... they were probably sitting back thinking they got everything figured out and then all of sudden when week 14 gets here we may be on the outside looking in if this continues... we looked foolish today and i'm hoping that it was a one week thing, but i'm very afraid that it isn't

Did you not know before today that we don't have a dominant OL or defense? |

RE: Re: RE: piss poor performance
my whole point is that we were expected to win by everyone and we came out like retards and turned the ball over, had penalties that killed us and basically got down early, so much so that we didn't have a chance to win no matter what.... i'm just very concerned that down the road as the road and competition gets tougher, we're going to look back and say, we should have won that game.... the schedule is about to become a really ***** the next couple of weeks and we need to stockpile all those wins while we can... we didn't do that today, and getting our asses handed to us may have a negative effect on the team for the rest of the season....
