Half of Saints fans were complaining that we didn't air it out enough. The other half is complaining that we didn't run enough.
That fact is, we had to play catch up - so, we had to throw. We ran because, regardless, you still have to keep the defense honest. You can't throw every single play. I can answer many of your questions, but that's too much work. I'll simplify it for you. - We're not a 6-1 team. - We just came off of a bye week. - It was just a bad day. The Saints couldn't catch a break. All of the bounces and tips went to the Ravens. Think of it as a bad hair day. - The Ravens are a good team. - We played against the best defense in the NFL. Simple enough? Atleast we're healthy. Peyton took a lot of the blame upon himself. Listening to his post-game interviews you could tell that he's ready to go to work tomorrow and fix things. All coaches say it, but you can tell he meant it. We're not going to win all of our games. We have to lose sometime. What makes a team good is how well they handle adversity. We'll see next week. What's important is no injuries and no locker room/finger-pointing fiasco. |

Oh, and another thing, Bush is fine. I'm not buying into all this 'he's not ready' bull.
He's NOT starting. So what if he fumbled today? McNair fumbled. Jamal Lewis fumbled. The main blame, actually, should be on the offensive lineman/tight end who missed his block. So what if he threw an interception? He's a running back. You take that chance when you run trick plays - that's why they're trick plays. He has more receptions than most of the NFL. He's leagues above Aaron Stecker and defenses are still scared ****less of him. Yes, he still has some learning to do. To say, he isn't ready, though - that's just not accurate in my opinion. |

prozac is for persistent, sometimes catatonic, depression. It's major side effect is suicidal ideation. So in that regard, yes, let prozac be your friend. If you're ready to pour gasoline all over yourself and threaten to light the match over this loss that may not be as big a deal as it was a win for the Ravens, then, pop another one and strike that match.

Well shoot and to think we did a trick play in the redzone down by 7? We could've just ran the ball instead of coming off 1st and 2nd down gunning it...but who knws I do want Deuce to get his 1,000 yrds. this year.
