Bush said he expects to play against Bucs
Monday, 5 p.m.
By Mike Triplett Staff writer Saints tailback Reggie Bush said he expects to play Sunday at Tampa Bay, but he probably will miss practice time this week after re-injuring his left ankle in last Sunday’s 35-22 loss to Baltimore. “Oh yeah, I’ll be ready, said Bush, who hobbled off the field during the fourth quarter after being tackled by Ravens linebacker Bart Scott. “I’ll probably take this week off, maybe, and just try to get myself 100 percent for Tampa. “I’m just going to do what I can (in practice). The main thing is to get ready for Tampa Bay. I plan on doing whatever the coaches and trainers want to do. http://www.nola.com/newslogs/tpsport...10.html#199671 |

RE: Bush said he expects to play against Bucs
I didn't like his "my ankle has been sore all season" quote.
Sounds like an excuse. I want more from my Bush. Man, I haven't said that one in a while. I hope he is ready to play Sunday, we need some flash |

All things considered, he is still a ROOKIE! A Rookie with imho too many expectations on his shoulders. He will be one of the Greats. Give the dude time. |

As for his ankle, it's not unusual that they play that way considering the nature of the game and that the Saints play on that carpet covered asphalt. He'll be fine.

RE: Re: RE: Bush said he expects to play against Bucs
Rooks these days are thrown to the lions pretty much because they have no choice, peyton, eli, ryan leaf, vince young are all rooks as well as Ricky that played rookie year becaus ethey had no choice. Reggie has a great teacher to learn from right? So why not have Deuce teach him? I mean it does make sense to do a trail and error theory with Reggie it's just that it's starting to hurt the team in the run game. But we know Reggie has potential and he shouldn't get discourage but hell Decue is still on the team too and we did him a fat pay-day to be a Saint forever so guys think about it Deuce is and has to play the whole game. We will not quit, we will not faulter we will succeed

He's just now reaching his full potential in his retirement year.
