G'day!!!
First time post from an Australian Saints fan living in a small coastal town called Paynesville in the state of Victoria. I have followed the Saints since developing an interest in the game in the late 80's early 90's. Whilst I don't get to see much TV coverage of the Saints (the one live game so far this season was the return to the Superdome vs Atlanta, which was exceptional), the computer gets a work out Monday and Tuesday mornings as I use Gamecast to "watch"
the game and then devour every post match article I can find on that weekend's Saints game. Let's hope the boys continue to play with such confidence and self-belief and our season progresses deep into the playoffs. Finally, after that lenghty intro, is Marques Colston a realistic chance to snare ROTY honours if the second half of his year is as productive as his first? |

Colston is certainly gonna win roty this year and go to the pro-bowl as well. he also played better than Joe Horn and is probably going to be his replacement in the near future(prererably now)

Thanks LongTimeFan, I will endeavour to stick my head in sometime. Colston certainly has the physical attributes to be an outstanding contributor to the Saints for a long time to come. Pre-season many would have tipped that the Saints would produce the ROTY, however #25 would have been the unamimous choice I imagine, rather than Colston.
I agree with GoldRush26 that #87 is ticking along nicely. Looking at his returns against the Eagles and Ravens, it seems he was just beginning to kick into top gear when his groin prevented him from suting up this weekend. |
