Since signing up as a member on bland and gold I have enjoyed most of the member's perspective on the Saints but some members on here are lacking Saints knowlege and even football knowlege. I was just wondering if it is possible to put some kind of auto reject for posts from members who are talking out the side of their necks. lol.......hope this one doesn't get auto rejected............

No not censorship. They would just go to another board where their equal peers could read them.

Setting up an auto-reject feature would be nearly impossible to implement. Unless we bar particular usernames. But if we do, those same users could simply re-register under another username. The cycle would be perpetual.
I don\'t mind it when asinine comments end up on the board. I really don\'t. They amuse me, in fact. And since it\'s pretty much impossible to prevent, the best option may be to simply ignore or be amused... |

BillyC, in answer to your question. Sure we could delete some of the statements made by members. The question should be why would we do it. It\'s their right to ask or make the statement just as it\'s your right not to agree with it. If we had to delete everything said by everyone we disagree with, there wouldn\'t be any reason for this or any other board. Thanks for your statement even though I disagree with it. LOL

Not that I agree with the idea either, but I\'m sure it could be put in where you could opt to ignore certain posters. I know in some chatrooms you have the ability to not recieve messages from people you turn off. Kinda like ICQ when you hide from a contact.

Doable, but someone would have to rewrite the code interfacing with the http engine.
