this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Going into the season I thought they would end up somewhere around 6-10, 7-9 at best, the Saints are 6-2 right now as we all know... All bets off.... Enjoying the moment because you never know how the second half ...

9-7 is a great year any thing better than that is icing on the cake The playoffs ??????????????? who could have thought it when training camp started. I am just loving this. |

To lose out at this point would be a huge disappointment, given our fast start. Sure before the season 6-10 would have been acceptable but who's going to be encouraged by a team that loses 8 straight games?
You raise your expectations when your team proves they are a true contender, and I think the Saints have done that. We fans as a whole need to start thinking like winners. |

I would have been satisfied with b/w 4-12 and 7-9.......we would get a mid round pick and pick up some more key players in free agancy, but NOW the players look sharp (save the DBs) and we look like (dare I say it) a New England team from a few years ago that no one saw coming, but they played as a team and kicked a field goal in the final seconds of the super bowl to beat a too talented St Louis team.
