Top 5 Offennsive players & Defesive players 1/2 stretch
1. Drew Brees This guy make the OL LQQK likeprobowlers with his quick decision. He deliver the ball so the WR, TE, or RB can deliver some RAC. How is he HELPING the "d"? He can sustain a drive taking time off the clock to deliver blows to the opponent "D" while our "D" can take a breather, & Go @ full speed when their on the field
2. Marques Colston The guy is making Bress LQQK good a dependable WR that can make plays on the ball even if he is covered. I don't know if anyone else notice but our opponents are so afraid of this guy on their corners cuz they know he can break one on the corners that they roll a Lb to help bring the big fella down. 3. Jamar Nesbit this guy is bring his veteran leadership to this young offensive line. 4. Deuce McCalister if the OC will stop trying to establish Bush, Deuce will lead the NFC if not the NFL in rushing yards. I am not complaining cuz down the stretch a healthy Deuce on some beaten down Panthers look nice. 5.Jammal Brown What an accomplishment to switch to LT. He is dominating & he been in the league only 2yrs. I can only see this guy becoming better 6. Honorable mentions ...The rest of the OL...Faine, Stinchcomb, & jahri Evans defensive 1. Hollis Thomas The guy is a beast if he don't make the pro bowl i'll be shock. He is unblockable against the run & he pressure the QB constantly 2. Scott Fujita it seems like he was the missing part to the puzzle. He is always hustling to the ball if not covering in the backfield 3. Will Smith This guy have a motor if he ever establish one dominating technique like a Dwight Freeney's speed rush or Reggie White toss he will become a greater player than old Wayne Martin 4. Charles Grant he might not be getting to the QB often but he is playing team ball out their 5. Brian Young he would've ranked higher than the 1st two. I don't see know surrender in this guy always hustling and doing all the little things 6. Honorable mentions... Fred Thomas hands down he is the best db we have on the field |

i'm not too sure about deuce leading the nfl in rushing yds.... what about that guy in san diego... what his name? oh yeah, ladanian tomlinson.... i'm sure he'd still be the leading rusher in the league no matter how many times we would have run the ball so far this season...

Jammal Brown? Doesn't he lead the NFC in false starts? Sorry.....can't agree with that one. Brown is the weakest link on that O-line. Not to mention....I still have visions of DeMarcus Ware shoving his fat a** around like a biyatch in that pre-season game against the Cowboys. Strief looked a hell of a lot better on Sunday against Simeon Rice than Brown has all year. Now.....J'Hari Evans (who you have as an "honorable mention") should be in that top five. Jeff Faine as well.

i agree.... i think brown needs to make some major improvements if he wants to keep his job on the left side after watching the performance of strief last weekend.... i said it right after the draft that strief was going to be an invaluable member of the line and even figured he'd be starting by now, only on the right side of the line.... if he'd been healthy, who knows, he might have been starting by now.... to be fair, simeon wasn't 100% but nonetheless, strief kept him bottled up all game, which is still tough no matter how healthy simeon rice is....
