A Little Scared..........
After a big win against Tampa Bay, Saints players heard the magic words from Sean Payton: 'See you Wednesday,' meaning they had an extra day off.
We have always comeout flat after getting a break, and Pitt is due for a win. As long as we can holdon to the ball we will win though, and you guys better start your fantasy Saints players because Pitt gives up some points |

Don't most teams take Mondays and Tuesdays off during the season?

For some reason I worry more about playing an AFC team compared to an NFC team..
Could be worst, we could have the Colts on our schedule ... |

RE: Re: RE: Alittle scared..........
Coach's reward their teams very often with the "See you Wednesday" if they perform well. It's become something to look forward to after wins. NFL Films did a 15 minute piece a few seasons ago entitled "See you Wednesday" in which they showed coach's saying it and the players going nuts.
My point is, this is common place in the NFL. I wouldn't be as worred about having Monday and Tuesday off as I would playing a HUNGRY Steelers team that is looking for something to hang their hats on this season. |

I was worried until Joey Porter made his guarantee. Like someone else said in a previous thread, that is a sign of a team circling the drain.

Scared? No, just usual pre-match nerves - whoever we are playing. Come Sunday, I will be pumped
