No respect.
What is it going to take to get some respect from the national media? Seems to me, that no matter what the Saints do ,they hardly get any coverage at all. I see perinial loosers that get more coverage than the Saints. Is it because we're in a small market? I think not. Instead, I beleive it's because we don't have a lot of flashy players, i.e., Warren Sapp, Keyshan Johnson, etc.. I'm not a big fan of show boat players or big mouth players, but i do enjoy seeing Joe Horn's little dance and I like hearing him talk. I just wonder if we win the superbowl, will we get any coverage and a Monday night game?

No respect.
If you noticed the year after the Saints won their first ever playoff game and after winning the division, they were given ONE Monday night football game. That was against the Rams and it was the start of the collapse for the Saints in the 2001 season. The Saints do not get much respect from the media, because they really haven\'t earned it. I made a post like this in one of my first ever posts in this forum. A few of the guys made me realize that the Saints have a lot of work to do to achieve that respect. Honestly, I like when the Saints don\'t get a whole lot of media attention, because they seem to play better. They don\'t have as much distraction and pressure to perform. You see what happened last year. 6-1 start and the hopes were high. People were talking Super Bowl. Then another collapse. They buckled under the pressure. I have a very strong feeling that this is the Saints year to gain some respect, if only a little. We\'ll just see when the season gets here.
