this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Fred Thomas and his Hammie. Jason Craft and concusion this could be a big problem. I smell a shoot out if Thomas can not play....

I'm pretty sure that after 8 weeks we probably only have two offensive co-MVPs: Brees and Colston. There may be some debate about the interior offensive line, since we've never seen what happens when Faine, Nesbit, and Evans are out, right? Nor do I want to. The offense will be fine without Horn. Brees simply spreads the ball too well to be bothered about one receiver being out. Last week showed that he'll deliver the ball to whomever's out there. Look at the two TDs to Henderson and the pass to the 3 to Miller as evidence. I'm really worried about Fred Thomas not being out there though. SFIAH |

Well if Horn is out someone again will have to step up, it seems that there's a different player on the team who steps up every game, the difference in this Saints teams from years past.

But it seems like Colston is the engine and Brees is the oil that makes the engine go. Any time both those guys are on the field, I feel like the offense has a chance to be productive. I'd love to see Reggie get that 100 yd rushing game with 2 TDs. Or see Duece dominate for 4 quarters. But it hasn't happened yet. SFIAH |
