Experts.
I was looking at picks on espn, and out of all the "experts", only Eric Allen had us picked to win. It's strange that no matter what we do, there's always a reason why we shouldn't win. And an excuse why we did. (Excluding last weeks game). I think the leauge is expecting the Steelers to come alive all of a sudden and win the rest of their games. But they have too many problems. The biggest I think is they're not unified like they were last year. And pointing to a other post made on the board, I've been hard pressed to find any real active Steelers message boards. I'm not saying there's no way we can lose this game. I'll never say that about any game in the NFL. But this season we've been the more consistent team. We've been adapting to what defenses have thrown at us. We didn't lose a game to a team like the Oakland Raiders. My point is, even though they're the defending Super Bowl champs, it's our game to lose.

RE: Experts.
The guys who pick up games don't do so because they are Saints fans.
To us, it may very well be a game that's ours to lose, but to the rst of the world, is a road game for the Saints, a dome team probably playing in the cold and rain, playing the team that won the SB the year before, coming off a very embarassing loss against the Raiders. If they think the Steelers are due for a home win, it's their prerogative. What's the big deal. |

its a tough game because they have the ability to play better then they have. they could come out and beat us. i hope we win but this is still a team with talent.

I'm not mad because someone pick the Steelers, I just expected it to be more balanced.

We can't afford to make any mistakes, and need to create enough pressure to make Ben make mistakes. I agree it'll be a tough game. The Steelers are ranked in the top 10 (and ahead of the Saints) in both total offense and total defense. We need to be ready to play tomorrow. SFIAH |

RE: Re: RE: Experts.
i don't exactly side with this is our game to lose.... the defending super bowl champs, who haven't played very well, are playing at home and they are pissed off about losing to one of the worst teams in the league last week....on paper, looking at w/l records and stats, this may be "our" win, but realistically, if that team comes out and play like they are supposed to, it'll be a tough day in pittsburgh
