this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We had a chance to go up two games in Division, and we couldn't capatilize. We had that game it is disapointing. At least we are still in first place. WE need to win next week to keep that lead ...

Missed Opportunity
We had a chance to go up two games in Division, and we couldn't capatilize. We had that game it is disapointing. At least we are still in first place.
WE need to win next week to keep that lead going into the Atlanta game. |

thats why i said why even bother about figuring out scenarios for bye's and homefield advantage. we need it one game at a time. we look to the future and forget the present.....we had this one.....we just let it slip away....

exactly, one game at a time.... if we continue just "letting it slip away" it'll be 2002 all over again.... need to worry about the task at hand and finish off victories and worry about playoffs, homefield, etc later.... we need to worry about establishing a running game, playing better defense and not turning the ball over or committing drive killing penalties.....
