aahhhhhh, but what about the best player?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; in my humble opinion # 8 was the best all around player n.o. has ever had.......had he played for just a 500 team, i believe he would have taken em to the super bowl.....smitty...

Number 8. I\'m with you, Smitty. Archie was the KING. My favorite Saint of all time.

A great player and a classy guy. Archie is definitely the man. Too bad he never got to win one, maybe one of his boys wil do it for him.

I have to agree that Archie was a great QB for the Saints. If he had played for a better team, he would have gotten a Super Bowl ring and could possible be in the HOF right now.
