Henderson played, but he wasn't a factor.

I think this is right. We're just calling for Copper's head because he didn't catch the ball to keep the drive alive. In other words, woulda, coulda, shoulda. No way will we know if Devery or anyone else would have caught it either. But Devery played, he just didn't start. Dead story. It would be really really nice, tho, if he'd start showing up in practice and play his way to a starting position.

I for one don't blame Copper or even Bush for the loss to the Steelers, "you win as a team and lose by a team".
Hopefully they learned something from that game..

yes but BUT if copper wouldnt have fumbled down there in steelers territory... with the first down we still would have had a chance to atleast score and tie the game.....

OK, besides Colston, lets see here.
Rookie?
Not many games played.
Had a huge game!!!
Last play of the game loses the ball.
Too me he played better than Reggie Bush.
Look at the replay with all of the Steelers players around him.
He started to get going and fell and lost it as he was going to the ground.
Some Veterans do this every other game.
He did good this game and I will not fault him for it. Now, Bush after 9 full games is aother story.
He needed to know that he had to tuck it in. Tuck it in then the fourth quarter we are trying to win the game not come from behind.
Just my thoughts

Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda.

The loss was a collection of mistakes. Copper's at the end only kept the team from keeping the game going. The team lost on 6 negative plays. You stop those negative plays and Pittsburg only scores 10 points in the game:

1) The two Parker runs. (led to 14 points)
2) The 1st two fumbles (led to 14 more points).
3) Craft getting burnt after the Bush fumble. (7 quick points from part 2).
4) Copper fumbling at the end ends the game.

That's all. Stop even half of those 6 plays (and I'd add a 1/2 with Evans unsportmanlike conduct) and the Saints win.

Limit mistakes. Hold on to the ball. No stupid penalties. No huge plays on defense. That's all this team needs now to be successful.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
