I think most of this falls on Brees shoulder's....the guy has been great all season, but against AFC teams, hes tanked it. He took 14 points away from us today with bad decisions.....

I don't even see the point in critcizing the pass D anymore. It's beating a dead horse. They suck and we know they suck. What's the point in expecting something different each week? They are what they are and the team has to have more of a sense of urgency to score to make up for the TDs our DBs will undoubtedly give up. |

He's always lost to AFC North teams. Just look at his record. He plays those teams nearly every year.

That was one of the WORST displays of coverage I have ever seen. Brees had a brain cramp day, but did throw for 500 + yards, What did Thomas do?
We can not afford to give away yet another winnable game or we can kiss the division and playoffs goodbye! I know there will be a lot of, well it was a good loss, we did good things blah blah blah.....Save it, we STUNK, period. We need to gain some respect on the D side of the ball or no one will fear our offense knowing they can counter with the equvialent yardage and pts to beat us. Yeah I'm edgey today, this loss stings! |

One thing to consider for the off-season is that there are not many standout CBs in college this year, so any upgrades must come through Free Ageny.

We already gave up division. Panthers are in 1st due to head-to-head record. Like I said earlier, I don't see why so many are surprised that our D gave up so many big plays. Haven't they been giving up big plays for 3 or 4 years now? I think a few on here drank a little too much of the media Koolaid, maybe even myself a little. We aren't an elite team. I believe we will still make the playoffs though. ATL and Philly lost, and both look like they are finished. I think as far as offenses go, Cincy has the best that we'll see all season. |
