this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm a Bama fan (please don't laugh, we'll be back) and my friends were absolutely stunned to hear I'd rather see my Saints win a superbowl than Bama win the national championship. Are there any of you die-hard LSU fans ...

I'm a Bama fan (please don't laugh, we'll be back) and my friends were absolutely stunned to hear I'd rather see my Saints win a superbowl than Bama win the national championship.
Are there any of you die-hard LSU fans that feel the same way, or have I lost it? [Edited on 4/6/2003 by tweeky] |

I never thought there would be a question posed that I would not be able to answer.
Congratulations, tweeky, you have just stumped me. If I had to choose, I have no idea. |

Same here, JOESAM. Saints all the way. I\'d pick the Saints to win the Super Bowl over the Tigers winning the national championship in a heartbeat. I love the Tigers, but the Saints come first. I understand where B & B gets stumped here, though. I would be the same way if the question was worded differently and another school was involved. If the question were \"what would you rather see? the Saints win the Super Bowl or Louisiana Tech to crack the top 25?\" then I\'d have more of a dillema :P

D, did you go to Tech? If so, when? I spent 6 years there, and no, I\'m not a doctor. Best times of my life, hands down.

HAHA, we used to go into Monroe on the weekends, drink your booze, and pillage your women. They didn\'t start the Tech vs. NLU games until my last year. I hope that will turn into a good rivalry.

B&B,
I had a few lady techsters myself. Just stay away from the women in Biloxi, which is where I\'m living now. |

Yeah I went to Tech back in 96-97. I partied a bit too much, so I dropped out. I was also at the Tech/ULM game Tim Rattay\'s final year. I bought a T-shirt from this guy that had \"NLU? ULM? WHATEVER?\" printed on it. The back had a Bulldog pissing on an Indian. We kept asking the guy who he was rooting for in the game and he just said he was a fan of the rivalry. When he sold his last t-shirt, he took off his jacket and revealed a ULM ALUMNI sweatshirt. It was worth getting suckered for 5 bucks from a ULM grad just to see the way Tech handled ULM that game. :P And if you ever had the unfortunate privilege of going to the Q-Stick, I bartended there for a while.
