According to reports the Saints signed Steve Smith, last active with the Jacksonville Jags practice squad last year. Smith was a 7th round pick by the Jags and stands in at 6'1" and 193. He played his college ball at Oregon. No other information was available.

I read on some other sites about this guy. Former CB turned safety. Good athelete that needs some development to be a quality NFL caliber DB.
