RE: I tell you what
Evans has a hell of a mean streak. Stinchcomb is playing far and away better than anyone could've expected. It's like a light went on for Brown at LT as soon as preseason ended. Nesbit's playing the same he's always been...extremely solid and under the radar. And Faine has been a huge bargain and I think he's been playing better than Bentley did at center. It's amazing how much positive change this team went through in the offseason and how quickly the team has gelled.

RE: I tell you what
Loomis has been criticized the last couple of years by fans, me being one of them, my thinking is Mr. Benson wasn't putting up the money needed to make the Saints better until this last off season, I also want to give Benson some credit for the success that the Saints are having this year being he wrote out large checks to get key players (Brees, Bush just to name few).
Loomis took a gamble on Brees due to his injury from last season, he said he spoke to a lot of doctors about Brees' injury and was satisfied with what the doctors told him, he did his homework this past off season, I think things get better from here on out... |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

I, myself, am impressed with mickey "the mouse" loomis. Another year or two of good moves and I might move him out of the mouse-ketters club. The same goes for Benson.
the real credit goes to the scouting and coaching departments on this one. IMO |
