HOW 'BOUT SOME PROPS FOR THE "D"........
Let's give some praise to that DEFENSE that showed up today. They contained, and dominated one of the better rushing attacks in the NFL. They totally took SF main offensive weapon, RB Frank Gore, one of the best in the league, completely out of the game. They harassed QB Alex Smith most of the day sacking him three times, i think, knocking to the ground several times, and picking him off three(3) times. That's what we need next week in Dallas.

RE: HOW
Gore was running for over a hundred yards in recent games, but only 40 against the Saints.

RE: HOW
look for a shoot out gang. Payton knows them all to well. I am stuck wondering who to start at QB in fantasy since I have both Drew and Romo.
Hope Closton will go. I am betting Shawn is saving him for this one. Horn looks to be out. No telling with him. you probly would have to shoot him to keep him out of this one |

RE: HOW
Now..... if we could just get Fred Thomas some redline, or NOxplode, or something!!! Man!!!! He's getting beat by everybody!!!!!! Bullocks is no help, because he has yet to recognize coverages & leaves the corners out on their own. This is not a good thing for an aging Fred Thomas. McKenzie has shown alot of improvement in recent weeks & damn does Soutemire lay the hits or what????!!!! He's not so good in coverage, but he'll lay the smack down!!!! Reminds me alot of the hits Sammy Knight used to distribute.
