Good Morning Saints Fans!!
Good Morning my Bayou Brothers! I am a life long Cowboys fan that grew up In LA in a household where my Dad Bled Gold and Black. I have no idea how I became a Cowboy fan, but always rooted for the Saints ( they were never any threat to my team). Honestly I never thought we would ever play a meaningful game with each other, but here we are, in primetime in December,, don't get much better than this!
Just wanted to wish you guys luck and I hope both teams play great and incur no injuries. I am expecting a good game tonight, but I see a Cowboys victory at the end. Not talking smack, I think you guys have a good team, I just honestly believe that at this moment the Boyz are just a better team. If you guys were 100% healthy, it might be different. But anyway, Good luck! It sure is great to play for something other than pride this time of year,, eh? |

RE: Good Morning Saints Fans!!
Good morning to you too cowboy because it is a good morning, two 8-4 teams who are both in first place in their division getting ready to play in the spot light, prime time.
I believe that our offense is really good, we've been scoring 30+ games lately which will force Romo to put a lot of points on the board himself which might cause him to throw a few pics our way. If Colston plays and is close to 100% I think the Saints have a really good chance at beating the Cowboys. As for our defenses you guys are a little better because of your corners, this will be a test for our offensive line, can we protect Brees?, can we get the running game going early? I'll go out and say that the Cowboys overall is a little better than the Saints but make no mistake about it, the Saints will play this game hard and can win so there is no guarantees on who will win this game, but whoever wins this game might get a first week bye, this game is huge for both of us... I won't wish you guys good luck on the winning but wish you all the luck to come out of this game healthy. I look at this game as a playoff type game, I can't wait for the game to begin. Oh, almost forgot, can the Cowboys contain Bush? Go Saints |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

It will be a great match up for sure, but I don't think Bush will be a huge factor in this game. I know he had a great game last week, but that was against the 49er's.
The question I have for you saint fans,,, how are you going to stop our O? If you crowd the line to stop the run, we will use TO, GLenn, Crayton and Witten. If you double both outside WR, that leaves Witten and Crayton in one on one match ups,, Dallas wins that battle. With you Thomas out, can you stop the run without commiting an extra person to the line? Can you cover both TO and Glenn deep? I know your LB's can not cover Witten one on one. So if you drop a safety down to cover Witten.. that leaves either TO or Glenn one on one deep. While I think your O will put up around 21 pts tonight, I don't see your D stopping our O from putting up over 30. I would be interested to hear how you will deal with all of our weapons! |

Haven't the Saints beaten the Cowboys in every regular season game they've played against each other since like '97? So yeah, this streak even goes back to the Aikman/Emmitt/Irvin years...
Look forward to a great game, Cowboy4Ever.....I'm about to hit the road for Dallas in the next 2 hours or so.. |

Hmm, first off Glenn is better than TO, he does not drop easy catches, and does not quit on his routes nor does he go through the motions when he isn't going to get the ball. Witten.....yeah he is more of a problem than any. Our LB's are not the greatest in coverage, I expect to see our defense in a different look on each and every play, to confuse Romo, he is young and inexperienced. Your safety's are weak against the pass, they are more like smallish LB's and great against the run. If Horn and Colston were healthy our offense is no doubt going to hurt you and hurt you bad. However with those two likely out and Smith on the D line out, playing at Dallas, I expect it to be a great game, I will pull hard for my Saints but I believe you guys will win. Who knows maybe our second stringers on the D line will step up and at least COlston will play, that is what I want to see. I think it will be a great game, but there is not a single team in the NFC that the Saints nor the Cowboys cannot beat on any given day |

The Saints will get to Romo and cause him to make mistakes, this will be the difference in the game, he won't have much time to look down field, so IMO the Saints will slow down Dallas passing and force them to beat us with their running, something J.Jones hasn't been really good at this season.
I also love our chances with coach Payton, I'm sure he did his homework, you will see adjustments during the game if needed, something he's very good at doing. |
