No. I'm told that the dark colors are harder to pick up than white. It could be why opposing QBs keep throwing the ball to our defense. The black uniforms do make it more difficult for opposing defenses to follow the ball during hand-offs and stuff.

Bottom Line....black is an official color of the Saints so lest USE IT!!!! I say we pull kind of a Denver. Invert helmet....black helmet...gold fleur. Black jersey...gold numbers w/ white trimming.....black pants.....gold stripe from armpit to knee. Same concept away with white jersey black numbers..black stripe...all with gold trimming. Whatever just shooting off ideas....the uniform was a the reason the Saints even caught my attention back in '89. I saw them in '86 but I loved Marino so much back then that I simply did not pay attention.

Sadly, the NFL only allows the "black" or alternate look a certain number of times during the season.
I love that mojo tho! |
if it helps them win - gives them swaggar or what ever - cool. But I don't like the unitard look. Didn't like in in 01 - don't like the trend in the NFL to go with it. I really hate the mod uniforms with swish like logos- the falcons had a terrfic uniform for years - now it looks like something you find in art school. (sorry) denver hate it! the worst cincinnati. they look like a bon jovi concert.
But if it gives them swagger I am all for it. geaux saints please don't EVER change the helmet (OK change the size of the logo a little - - but leave it alone. best looking uniform in the NFL has been for 40 years. |
Yo, they just look so intimidating, and when they're beating the hell out of someone, why not look good doing it. :gun:
