Exactly what I've been saying about LT over Brees for MVP

Not to diminish him as a player, but it seems like the scoring record is broken every other season:

Not to disparage in any way LaDainian Tomlinson breaking the NFL's single-season record for touchdowns scored this year (29), but that's the fourth time this decade that the mark has fallen. Shaun Alexander (28 in '05) held the record for less than a full year. Priest Holmes had it for all of two years (27 in '03), and Marshall Faulk's achievement (26 in '00) lasted just three. Counting Emmitt Smith's then-record-breaking 25 touchdowns in 1995, the mark has been re-established five times in the past 12 NFL seasons. Not exactly Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak in '41, eh?

Let's face it LaDainian Tomlinson is awesome and disserves everything coming his way. Brees can lose MVP so long as we run deep into the playoffs, I'm cool with that.
