Name for the defense

I don't think the D has earned the title yet, but when they begin consistently playing like I am confident they will, I think this is most appropriate given that this team was born from the wrath of Katrina.

We got "Cool Brees" on offense and "The Storm Surge " defense!

I know its not original, but what do yout think??

"the Storm Surge" not bad, it has been mentioned by a few callers on the local Saints radio network WWL 870. But honestly, as for myself, my home being a victum of Katrina`s storm surge, it just doesnt digest very well, but thats just me.

Why do we need nicknames for everything? For the defense, for Karney, etc...lets just go nicknameless keep playing football. We dont have anyone asking for a nickname for our offense...lets keep it that way.

We're Americans! We almost NEVER call anything by its proper name!
Not only that, but you know that you're big time when Berman gives you a moniker. (ie Joe 'Little Big' Horn, 'Big' Ben Roethlisberger, etc.)
Just have some fun! Why not a nickname? :P
