I still have a bad taste in my mouth losing to the Skins but by Wednesday I'll start thinking about the Giants , didn't the Giants lose 5 out of their last six games?, if so it doesn't matter they are a team that can beat us if we play as poorly as we did against the Skins, I do however give a lot of credit to Joe Gibbs and his team, they came to the Dome better prepared than the Saints.
Yes the Saints are 100 % better than last year, with that said I'm happy making the playoffs and winning the NFC South.. I'm sure Payton will have his team ready to play come Sunday, I won't guarantee we beat them but will say they'll play better than last week... The #2 seed is great if we get it but I have enough confidence in them to win on the road, if fact I think they play better away from home but once in the playoffs you better play good no matter which city you play in. Saints win Sunday and the Eagles beat the Cowboys the #2 seed is ours. My last line IMO is very likely to happen.. |

Crushed.
As a lifetime Saints fan from NJ, I had the priveledge of visiting the Big Easy last week, having the trip focus around my first Dome experience. We arrived Saturday, walked around for a bit, ate at NOLA's, and got a good night's sleep for the game on Sunday. Depressed is more the word. I was so pumped walking up Poydras street towards the dome, then dejected and almost in tears trudging back down that same route a few hours later. How could this have happened? My girlfriend basically told me to shut the hell up by Tuesday, and get over it, but we all know that didn't happen. I just don't know, and the return back to work here in Giant country was NOT easy, as the jokes & cracks are still flying. I'll be at Giants Stadium this Sunday, 7 rows from the endzone, and my confidence fragile. The G-men can be scary sometimes, and that place will have blue pride flowing as it's Tiki's last home game ever. Worried to say the least. |

I thought about Tiki too, being this is his last time playing in front of his fans, I'm worried that he will go off on the Saints gaining a ton of yards, but I do have confidence in the Saints offense, I think they'll simply outscore the Giants, I see the Giants offense making mistakes like they have been doing pretty much all season, they seem to shoot themselves in the foot often.
Saints win this game even though Tiki has a big day, you can't beat the Saints by having a good day at running, just look back to the Falcons game, Vick had a ton of yards but wasn't enough to put up 30 points, something that you must have when playing the Saints. |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

It will be some game.
If the Saints turn to play, we win. If not Gr8 find on NO official site, under "New Orleans Saints Game Press Release" http://www.neworleanssaints.com/docs...s,%2012-24.pdf Real good read. If you like it simple, see pg14. But pg32 tells it all. Compare stats for games won v games lost. BAM! So that's why. Geaux Saints 8) |

If we were workin' for a playoff spot I'd be sweatin' bullets. My concern now turns to playin' good football - good solid defensive efforts against the Giants, Panthers and Playoffs. Defense, folks. Defense. 8) |
