this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Forget this game, it was just like last week, only we won. This Panthers' team has only one dream and that's to end the year with a win. Get focused on getting that final win and clinching a home bye....

RE: Was this the Prettiest Ugly Win You
The Giants looked horrible today thanks to the Saints defense and our running game...

The Giants did not have a snap in Saints territory all game, Saints special teams and defense was responsiable for that...

Yep, our defense basically shut them down. But if it weren't for the Giants being in total disarray, I think it would've been a much bigger task to beat them. Still I'm pleased with the win and I hope our passing attack gets on track next week.

I could care less if it's pretty or ugly. All teams have ugly games. San Diego won ugly today as well. Good teams have to win ugly sometimes.

Neither team brought their A-game. There were a lot of drops and some sloppy play. The wind probably helped shut down both passing attacks. We stood firm and played with poise and made adjustments while the Giants went into total meltdown. Big difference.
