LTF... biggest stat of the game. You can't win if you can't get into the other team's territory.
Second biggest stat: Manning had only 74 yards passing. Take away that 55 yard TD pass and Manning was 8 for 24 for 19 yards and an Int. Drops hurt but a good pass rush helped keep him off gaurd all day. |

when they said that doing the game, I hadn't even noticed it. The defense has been great this season.

The defense get kudos for yesterday.
PrimeTime gave them props on NFL GameDay last night. Howie Long observed at halftime that if the Saints offense didn't have all those drops that the game would have already been over. It was total domination of what is unbelievably still a playoff contending team. The Giants win in Washington next week, they get the #6 seed and presumably the NFC East division winner, who is likely the winner of today's game. SFIAH (Just for today... Go Eagles!) |
