this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Joe Horn. How bad is his groin and will the extra week off help him? Will he even play Sunday week? Updates please for those Australian fans who are a a long way removed from the action/gossip/rumour/fact....

I think he'll play. I think he was held out as a precaution. No need to play him and lose him for the playoffs.

He'll be back... there's no way he'll miss out on our playoff game.

To everyone that is still wondering, I talked to Joe Sunday after the game and he said that he was ready to play Sunday against the Panthers, but sat out to be 150% for the playoff game. Dont be worried thinking he wont play because he said he will play.

Joe will definitely play and i am guessing that he will also be a huge factor for us in winning the game. The Saints are lucky to have Horn rested, Hollis Thomas rested, and both of our running backs rested. None of our RB's carried the ball 250 times this year which is way below average for playoff teams...Larry Johnson for example carried the ball 430 times...so our backs are fresh, and our few older vets are fresh...everything is set up nicely for us to make a run.
