Good Luck this Saturday!
Just logged on to the site and found some interesting threads about the upcoming game. I am a long time Eagles fan and am anxious to see the game start as sure you all are. I don't have any ill feelings towards the Saints so you will not see any smack talk from me unless provoked. Not really sure how the game will pan out, but either way it will end I will be happy, but not as much as seeing the Eagles win!
I've been following the Saints for some time now and have been excited with how well your team is doing this year. If you all move on to the next round on Saturday, I will be cheering you all on to the super bowl! So good luck to all of you! It's been a long time for all of you![/b] |

Just to get your view on the game Cave, How do you think the game will go?
Are Eagles fans worried about the game? What is your view on McNabb vs Garcia? Just wondering? Sometime I think the game will be a blow-out for us, then I think it will be a 3 point win by y'all. |

Hell to be honest with you, I thought the Eagles would have lost to the Girls on Christmas Day. Man was I surprised to see them come out and play the way they did. Gave me bragging rights for the next week!!!
The Eagles fans are just as excited and worried as much as I have read on this board from the Saints fans. By no means are we over confident. We have lost three pro-bowl players DM, JK, and just recently LS. I think Hood will be good at CB, he has been learning a lot and will need to show his game come Saturday. I'm sure your team will test him to see how much of an advantage they have passing to his corner. With the way this season has gone, I really don't think I will be that disapointed for the way they have played since the lost of DM. Our Defense has gained experience and our rookies have come out this year and made some really good plays. Good Luck on Saturday! |

Saints Fans! You're welcome to come over and talk football on www.philaphans.com You will most likely run in to a few rude people, but there are a lot of cool people there as well.

Thanks for stopping by to wish us luck, we wish you the same.
spkb..I really believe that we'll see more of Deuce in this game compared to any other game of the season, he's well rested & ready to run... The Eagles should be concerned with Deuce just as we should be with Westbrook, both are elite RB's in the NFL |

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Good Luck this Saturday!
I've been taking *stuff* all week from Eagles fans that know I'm a Saints fan. One goaded me into wearing my Brees jersey to work, and then I heard it from those in the building that didn't know I was a fan. But oddly the overall mood for this game is weird.
Much like CaveDwellerAF many of the Eagles fans are OK with the Saints winning. They're not admitting defeat or saying the Saints will win. Just that if they had to lose in the playoffs, they'd rather it be the Saints to knock them off. Even RABID Eagles fans aren't talking like this is going to be an easy game (common among Eagles fans... every game is a cake walk, or should be). The most I hear is "it's going to be a good game" or "it'll be close". I honestly think it's tough for ANYONE to root against this team at this time. The local paper in my area isn't doing it's normal 'breaking down' of the Saints, finding all their weaknesses and tearing them down as bad. It's like if the Saints win they want to be able to make sure they don't look like hypacrits the next week when they start printing articles saying how good they are. Does andone else not in the Gulf region see the same sort of thing happening? |
