come saturday night, another page will be written in nfl history.....
unfortunately, few will ever retrieve it, much less remember it.........
however, it is a stepping stone to greater things and whatever the result, all things work together for the good.......
with that said, let's look at this game.........
our first bye game in history, wow!!!!!!!!!!!
our first winning season in 6 yrs, wow, wow!!!!!!!!
two games away from the superbowl, wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the reality is if we lose, we're gone......
and in reality, that sucks no matter how you look at it.....
don't even play anything into the win against the eagles....
that was history, this is now........
i have very mixed emotions about this game but the gut check remains the same.........we lose, we're out..........
so, with that said, what do we do?
payton will play it safe.......he might put in trick plays, blitzes, go for it on fouth down, but he will play it safe........it will come down to execution and mistakes, or the lack of...........with our offense, we have a chance to rise above either if we have time..........with our defense, man, this is where i'm hoping we do rise above and at least hold to fewest points so it's a good game. a blowout would'nt upset me in our favor either. i had a dream wed, night that the game had started and for whatever reason, the eagles jumped out to a 7 to 0 start........but, the dream ended there........ meaning, or showing me that history had not been written yet......
my prediction: a repeat of the saints/falcons game at the dome with the saints dominating..........
we can beat the eagles and go on the superbowl.........
garcia had his way with the saints in his prime, but that is past....
he will go down.....
put it in your pipe and smoke it, joke it, and stroke it, it will go down.....

I'm with ya smitty! I feel ya, I have so many different emotions running through me from excitement to anxiety right now. I'm having a hard time focusing at work. I find myself rereading posts on here then I'll go off and read other coverage of the game at other sites... basically everything I think,eat, sleep, say is the game. It's funny you mention you had a dream depicting the game. I just read saintsplaya's post on "Beer man" about his vivid dream of Lewis returning a kickoff down to the camera angle. I had a dream last night that Reggie Bush breaks a huge run on a screen pass similar to the one against Dallas. Even in my dream the dome was so load it hurt!! ...hopefully our dreams are right, ...except yours! ha ha
