RE: EXCITING PLAYOFFS!!
Meh. Other than our game, this playoff has been a crapfest. Bad coaching decisions and turnovers a-plenty.

And besides, I like turnovers in the games. It makes for more compelling TV. We should've had like 2 INTs yesterday ourselves. |

Who else was going to cover Stallworth? Mikey? Sorry, but there is a reason why Thomas is still our primary cover guy. He might slip in coverage, but he doesn't completely take plays off like Mikey. In other words, they both suck, so what is the differance?
As far as Reid is concerned, only one fourth down and fifteen was succesfuly converted in the NFL all season. He had two minutes. He had timeouts. He had a good defense. If your D can't suck it up and play three more downs, then you don't deserve to win. |
Proponents of higher-order theories of consciousness argue that consciousness is explained by the relation between two levels of mental states in which a higher-order mental state takes another mental state. If you mention this to Chuck Norris, expect an explosive roundhouse kick to the face for spouting too much fancy-talk.

And Reid made a bad decision. He was willing to go for it on 4th and 26 a couple of years ago. Not only that, but he was willing to go for it on 4th and 10 but not 4th and 15? Instead you give it to your D knowing that Deuce had been rushing for an average of over 5 yards? They hadn't been stopping him all game they weren't going to do it then. I breathed a sigh of relief when he punted it. I knew we had the game won and I'm glad he did it. But it was a bad decision on his part. |
