NFL rigged for Saints
This is a story, I had to share with my fellow Saints fans, because I thought it to be very humorous, and sad.
There is a belief, amongst more than a few football fans, that the NFL "rigged" things, to go in the Saints favor this season, to help keep the team in New Orleans, and to also help the spirits of people effected by Hurricane Katrina. Now, I heard this from a group of 49er fans, at a club, in San Francisco last night. I laughed my ass off, but, as I said, I wanted to bring this up to you guys, because I'm curious if any of you have heard this same BS, or read about it anywhere. JFK.....9/11....Saints 06 season. Will this nightmare ever end?!?! Too bad X-files couldn't get ahold of this, for a script. |

RE: NFL rigged for Saints
Ive seen this crap on a couple forums not too long ago and i hear it alot from some relatives who are Cowboy fans, but like my wife says, they're just pissed because they're not having the success that we are having right now.

Exactly what I said to them. Then they brought up the year, that the Patriots won, after 9/11. Wasn't that in New York? Besides that the Patriots ended up winning two more, and are on the verge of another SB appearance. Also, Katrina was in 05 technically. So, their arguments don't hold water. Emotion, is playing into our teams success this year, but I think it was emotion that propelled the Patriots initially as well. Emotion, used properly, can create many a magical thing.

Why wasnt the Superbowl Giants/Jets, then? Why did they blow the call on Colston's Hail Mary TD last night? Guess Bush's fumbles were scripted, eh?
Paul, I'm not just mildly perturbed like you are when people advance theories like this...I want to punch people who spew them in the throat and then kick them in the gonads. |

... just wait until this weekend, when the weather in Chicago rises to 55 degrees, and is sunny and dry with no wind whatsoever. Then it'll be God's Will.

actually, the NFL rigged:
-The Texans pass on Reggie -The Dolphins pass on Drew -Sean just absolutely begging to come to New Orleans. -Donte Stallworth, one of our best receivers, get ousted so we can replace him with two unproven rookies. anyone feel free to add on 8) |

If this is true we would not have gone 3-13 last year. They started saying this in '05 when we beat Carolina in the first game of the season, but it lost steam when we only won two more games. Truth is.................WE ARE A GREAT TEAM! SO SHUTUP TO ALL SF rainbow fairies.
