Running Games Are Similar
Looking at both teams running games, I would have to say that they are very close. You guys use Reggie Bush for your slashing, quickness, and agility. Next, Deuce comes in and beats the crap out of people. Expect to see the same from the Chicago Bears. Thomas Jones starts the first couple of series with the same techniques as Bush. After the defense tires, Cedric Benson comes in a rolls over linebackers. I am anxious to see what running offense performs better. They match up pretty evenly.

RE: Running Games Are Similar
Not to sound cocky here, but neither Jones nor Benson are as good a RB as Duece. And Reggie as more big play potential than Jones. Yes, it may be the same concept, but I feel we have the edge in the running game. The Bears D is better than the Saints, but the Saints have not let one guy beat them all year outside of Chad Johnson, and I don't think the Bears offense has anyone in the same league as Chad as far as talent goes. This game will not be a walk in the park for either team, but I, just as most of the Saints fans, have learned not to hope to win, but to expect it.

True dat.
Ced has talent and power, but is not in the same league as Duece. And comparng Jones to Reggie is simply delusional. Jones's a good back. Every now and then he shows great moves. But Reggie is something special. Deep down you know the biggest concern the windy city footbal fans have is lack of special talent on offense. Benson's the closest you have. And that aint special. |

The Bears essentially have two power backs. Benson is quicker than Jones and can be shifty (he's great running off-tackle), but he doesn't compare to Bush in the open field.
Neither Jones or Benson are comparable to Westbrook, though. |

I gotta say this................both the Bears backs are good. Hell ,if they weren't they wouldn't be in the NFL. My thing is this.....look at the good and maybe great backs we've already faced this year. Where are they now?
I'll tell ya............they're sittin at home scratching their unemployed asses! |
