Bears Fans vs Falcons Fans
Ok, I know this is going to sound bad, but I long to actually have some Falcons fans in here.. I mean, they are not living in near the euphoric drug filled world that it appears many of the Bears fans are. I keep hearing all this blah blah bear stat stuff, but it has no basis or relevance. I fear that these fans are sincerely misguided in their judgement of the issues.
At lesast the Falcons fans know their quarterback is sub par...and he is a hell of a lot better than Rex-y... Oh well...to each his own GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!!! |

Depends on the forum. On a few I go to, they acknowledge that this is a tough game for the Bears. Their toughest of the season. They feel that their D is vulnerable and that the game either goes good or bad depending on how rattled the Smith, Grant, Thomas, and Young can make Rexy.

Fans, are fans my friend. Always expect bias, we do it in here all of the time. They are passionate about their team, as we are about ours. It all comes down to this, speculate all they want, and we want, NO ONE knows who is going to win this game. "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.....THAT'S IT...YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME...." We know what we have in our team, and that' all we need to know.

RE: Bears Fans vs Falcons Fans
Biased?? Who is biased? I think we are gonna win for a plethor of reasons...
1. We have a better offense. 2. We have a better defense. 3. We have a better offense and defense. 4. Our kicker does not need to practice for game winning field-goals during commercial breaks. 5. Fujita sounds better than Urlacher. 6. Bush wears Adidas. 7. Your QB's last name has the word Gross in it. 8. After the "Super Bowl Shuffle" you guys don't deserve to win anything ever again. 9. Our uniforms look a LOT COOLER THAN YOURS!!! and my 10th and final unbiased reason.... 10 BECAUSE I AM A SAINTS FAN....AND YOU ARE NOT...SUCKA!!!!!!!! GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
BINGO!!

RE: Re: RE: Bears Fans vs Falcons Fans
In reality, hes only kickd 2 game winning FG's, one coming against Tampa Bay, in which he missed from 37 yards out in OT and got a second chance but needed it from 25 yards out.....not to be a nit picker and all....also, Gould is 32/36 with a long of 49, while Carney is 23-25 with a long of 51...so technically, Carney is the better pick on kickers....

In all fairness, Bears fans do have more of a right to be cocky about playing us than Falcon fans do. They are the number 1 seed and they are a better team than the Falcons are.

Technically Carney has missed 3 FGs...don't forget he missed an XP, which is just plain wrong in the NFL. Also remember where the Saints play there home games, a DOME, which as one would recognize has no WIND. Bears played only 5 games (incl. Arizona's semi-dome) in domes, while the Saints played 11 games (incl. Dallas' semi-dome) in domes. I think if the roles were reversed these kickers numbers would be much different. Anyone in Saints land see/know how bad the wind can swirl inside Soldier Field? Ask Kevin Butler, said it's the hardest place in the nation to kick at. The wind gusts come an go instantly. Pretty nuts. That game here last year vs. the 49ers? Did you see that FG attempt by Robbie Gould? Can't find a video, but here's a quote from nfl.com "Earlier, Gould attempted a 39-yard field goal and the ball appeared headed straight to the goalposts, got caught in a gust, then almost comically ended up about 20 yards wide right." It literally went from dead on and B-lined it straight for the pileon in the back corner of the EZ, bizarre ****! |

Ok, so the wind swirls in Chicago. It swirls in San Francisco, New York, hell it swirls all over the place. Do you really think that we've never played a down in a wind? Come on now. Wind is wind. We'll play the game the way it's supposed to be played just like the Bears will, in the wind or not in the wind, which ever it is. It really doesn't matter.
