"ain'ts" moniker almost gone
I wish there was a way, to have that horrible nick, legally banned, after we go to the Superbowl. That is like calling a woman the "c word", to say that in front of a Saints fan. I have actually punched a few guys for using that word with me.... But I am a pretty angry guy anyway.... :bnb:

Let's focus on Sunday before looking too far beyond. |

I just think looking past the #1 seed in the conference is foolish.
I hope the Saints win too, and I'm confident that they can win, but I'm not gonna delude myself into thinking there is no chance the Bears could wind up playing in Miami in a little over 2 weeks. |

Unfortunately for anyone outside of the our Black and Gold soveriegn, I strongly believe "Da Aints" nickname wouldn't be abolished with just one trip to the Superbowl. Its going to take several good and seasons for years to come to change people's mindsets.
By the grace of God, if we do take it all the way, next season, our Saints will be under so much scrutiny that one inkling of failure will have people calling us flukes or the road to the Superbowl was set up by the League. For now, I am just focusing on this coming Sunday. So that this time, next week we can have other things to be excited about for our team. Who Dat! |
