The Saints signed Scot Osborne to a two year deal. He is a TE/OL, he was cut by Buffalo.

Many of the guys signed at this stage are signed for one reason. They are going to play a role in training camp. Whether it be scout team bodies for our starters to pound or legitimate long shots to make the team or a place to audition for other teams. They know why they are here, and we know why they are here.

Practice Fodder.

If they want him only as training camp fodder, I wonder why they signed him for 2 years rather than just one?

Maybe its a salary cap thing? Or perhaps a big cruel joke on the kid.
